John Logie Baird

From a early age mother told me about her life with john

As I have my fathers mind and delve into his life more I begin to understand him better. I wondered why he was never smiling on the photos of him. Then the answer came as at the age of 12 I decided not to smile on photos as people would not take me seriously. Father kept a straight face to give people more confidence in him, but in his normal life he had a great sense of humor and fun.

Another point about father was his great sense of duty to his investors and friends. When he was on top of the world he was still working more than playing.

What can I say except to load the page with links to my fathers life. My mother loved my father and life's circumstances controlled their fate.

I think strange that John logie dying probably helped my mother cope with things and she did love Johns legitimate children, and disliked me for coming along at the wrong time. I understand all the facts and still love both parents for their wonderful gifts to me in the form of original thinking and a great sense of humor.

It is strange that my father is never smiling in photos but I find out that he too had a sense of humor that was great.

As I press forward trying to earn a living with my inventions it seems that nothing has changed in the Baird Mays household. I know that Stanley my step father knew who I was and some deal was done with John Logie Baird, because we lived in a nice home in Wanstead. I know that the players in this drama are all watching from above and are willing me on in the invention field. My father John logje Baird had high definition COLOUR TV up and running in 1926, also he had 3D TV running and I know just how he did it but nether England or the USA seem interested so I guess it is on to CHINA !

Father had so much trouble with the authorities, and to get known having to build the first   TV with his own scarce funds living like a pauper. It is so easy to developed someone else's designs when you have the backing of millions. The stupid people that tried to save money by not employing my father should hang their heads in shame as years later they sill have not achieved 3D TV. That makes them stupid. Fathers idea was quickly developed as the money merchants moved in, but it was his idea and he was the first to get it up and running with a large screen and colour.

I am started to press for a knighthood for him as when I read the lists of those dubbed I am ashamed for the United Kingdom that his name is not listed. He was fun loving and a mind to match any who went before or came after, he was in fact a fine eccentric genius.

Thank You John Logie Baird for being my father

Thank you Kathleen Mays nee Faux for being my mother.
